Redwood Shores, New York, and CA- Sep 06, 2019; Oracle and a video cloud provider- Kaltura, announced that Oracle will OEM the Kaltura Video Platform as a Service (VPaaS). This partnership enables Oracle to add advanced rich media capabilities to its cloud products, including interactive video editing and creation, search, management, cross-platform video playback, and intelligent media analytics and engagement.

With this new partnership, Oracle customers will enjoy the addition of advanced video tools across all Oracle Cloud products.

Kaltura’s video APIs will become available within the Oracle Content and Experience Platform as part of the OEM strategic partnership. Oracle customers will enjoy: Kaltura’s interactive video and cross-platform video player capabilities; Kaltura’s Experience APIs; and native mobile SDKs like the Kaltura video capture tools, video editing tools, media upload SDK, and media enrichment workflows. These rich video capabilities will enable Oracle customers to easily incorporate engaging video workflows for sales, marketing, commerce, service, and employee engagement.

Since 2013, Oracle has been a long-standing Kaltura customer using the company’s video products to power video across Oracle and to its customers and partners, for both external and internal video publishing and management.

The new video capabilities will be showcased at Oracle OpenWorld on September 16–19, 2019 in San Francisco as an integral part of Oracle Content & Experience’s Intelligent Content Platform.
